Established in 1983, Luneside Studios is one of the longest-running artist studio groups in the North West. The initial site was located on the second floor of St. George’s Works on St. George’s Quay, Lancaster. Following the proposed redevelopment of the area around Luneside East, including St. George’s Works, the Studios relocated to 26 Castle Park in 2008. We currently provide affordable studio space for 14 artists. The work produced includes painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, 3D work, collage, photography and design. A
s part of HODs 2024, the Studios will be open to the public between 1200 and 1800 on Saturday 14th September and between 1200 and 1600 on Sunday 15th September.

- Directions:
- Turn right off Meeting House Lane by The Storey and head up Castle Park, the cobbled street leading up to the Castle. Follow the road round to the left with the black metal railings to your left. Luneside Studios is the building directly after the archway entrance to The Storey and the Tasting Garden. There are two front doors, one up the steps and one with disabled access. Parking is situated around the Castle.

The ground floor is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs but there is only stairway access to the upper floor. A disabled toilet is located on the ground floor.
