The main entrance to Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is wide, giving easy access to wheelchair users and visitors using large pushchairs. Staff can provide a ramp for ease of access to stepped areas on the ground floor. Access to first floor galleries is by 18 stairs with a half-landing. Unfortunately due to the historic nature of the building, access to the first floor galleries is not possible for wheelchair users or large pushchairs. Toilet facilities are located within the Barracks complex to the left of the museum, and are provided by English Heritage. They include a wheelchair access
