Three exhibitions to see marking local anniversaries and the work of Chelmsford naturalist J. A. Baker

An exhibition to mark the work of the Chelmsford naturalist J. A. Baker, together with other small exhibitions at Essex Libraries Ingatestone marking other local 50th anniversaries in libraries and education.
2024 is the 50th anniversary of the library at this site and there is a separate display concerning this and the history of public libraries in the village.
It is also the 50th anniversary of the local Anglo European School and the library will contain a small exhibition marking this and the school's unique educational and geographical location.
Ingatestone Pedallers have undertaken a local "J. A. Baker Loop" cycle ride for some years and have published a route map based around this. A small exhibition around Baker, the ecology of Essex and the Pedallers will link with that at Chelmsford Museum and a cycle ride event (see separate entry)
