Horton Court

From its beginnings as a stone hall in the 11th century to modern day holiday cottage, discover the evolution of this unique building and the influential individuals that lived here.

This Grade I listed manor house and now holiday cottage sits on the edge of the rolling Cotswolds countryside. Used as a filming location for both Wolf Hall and Poldark, see if you can recognise which parts of the building made it onto TV.

Accessibility details

Horton Court has a combination of wooden and flagstone floors with rugs. The building is over two floors with staircases and additional steps on each floor. The garden is on different levels and uneven, mostly grass with some paving. There is an unenclosed large lake.

The main car park is opposite the church and signed from the road. Accessible parking in front of Horton Court.
