Join us in Street, Somerset to see the history of shoemaking and non conformity brought to life as you walk, sashay and glide through our heritage walking trail and visit our historic Grade II Listed house, The Grange, for a picnic and lawn games

For Heritage Open Days 2024, we will be celebrating the history of shoemaking in Street and how this industry changed the landscape of a small rural village which became the hub for a global shoemaking brand. From your first steps on this newly developed heritage trail, you will experience Street through a lens of non conformity and refuge and the connections that have endured through time.

Trails can be downloaded directly from our website or picked up from any of the advertised outlets.

The Grange house will be open daily from 10am until 4pm where you will be able to meet the team and take part in free craft activities.
The Grange grounds are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm where you are welcome to picnic and take part in our lawn games. Visit our website for more exciting details and information about the hike and fringe activities.
