  • 14 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Join us on a guided tour of the Historic Graffiti of Worcester Cathedral, exploring the marks left by those who built it and those who worshipped and visited here from the Middle Ages to the present day.

The Cathedral’s Historic Graffiti holds witness to the changing nature of belief, practice, and worship over the past centuries and reveals the personalities, thoughts, and fears of those who visited before you. A guided tour of the graffiti both inside and outside the Cathedral building that lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes is given by one of our Cathedral tour guides.
The tour is being run twice on the day at 12pm and 3pm.
Worcester Cathedral is one of England's loveliest cathedrals. It stands majestically overlooking the River Severn, close to the city centre. It has been a place of prayer and worship for fourteen centuries. The Cathedral's attractions include royal tombs, Norman Crypt, medieval cloisters, magnificent Victorian stained glass and examples of every period of early English architecture from 11th to late 14th Century.
