Guisborough Museum is a small independent museum operated by volunteers. Take part in bringing Guisborough's history to life. Listen to a talk about Guisborough's Mills, where they were and how they worked. Find out more about the Roman Cloth and our historic town. Join in making a train to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the closure of the passenger railway station. Write a story about Guisborough for publication in our highly regarded Newsletter. There is a quiz and activities for children.

Location & directions

Directions:
Sunnyfield House is located on the north side of Westgate (the High Street) near the pedestrian crossing. Guisborough Museum is in the former Stables, behind Sunnyfield House. There is a small free car park. Other parking is free for 2 hours, with a parking disc on the cobbled edges of Westgate. Pay and display car parks are located in Church Square, Fountain Street, Walkers Row and Belmont House. Walkers Row and Belmont House offer free parking on Saturday. Guisborough has many cafes and pubs for you to relax in and wonderful Priory grounds to explore and enjoy.
