Exploring the Archives

This event will offer people the chance to visit the University of Exeter Special Collections and to see some of the archives that are not generally open to public view. Material will include items of historic and literary significance from the past seven hundred years and participants will be able to see and handle items with the help of experienced archive staff. There will be the opportunity to find out more about how we look after the material and what is involved in preserving it. People do not need to book and can drop in at any point in the session.

Directions:

There is a bus which runs from the city centre to the campus, stopping at the Queen's building. The Old Library is just down the hill from the stop. There is very limited disabled parking in front of the Old Library. We will be in seminar A/B - look out for the signs.
