- Derby Arboretum can be accessed from Rosehill St, Grove St, Arboretum Square and Reginald Street. There is a public Car Park at Grove Street. Buses serving the area are: 38 and 2s along Osmaston Rd, 4 and 7 along Normanton Rd.

The Arboretum is fully accessible but some of the paths in the Community Garden are uneven.

Derby Arboretum is famous for being Britain's first public park. Situated just 10 minutes walk from the city centre and the railway station, it's a picturesque oasis with a fine collection of trees, and is Grade II* listed.
