Bromwich Hall Alive - Medieval Mayhem - medieval encampment at Bromwich Hall
Manor House, Hall Green Road, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B71 2EA
Visit our medieval encampment in the grounds of Bromwich Hall, the medieval home of the Lords of the Manor of West Bromwich. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 1270s with extensions in the 1400s and Tudor period.
See the house and grounds come alive with costumed characters from the 1400s. Meet the Lord of the Manor and fine ladies as well as ordinary medieval folk. See archery, cannon and combat displays and take part in knight school, learn about medicine, clothing and medieval food, enjoy medieval music and join in a dance, enjoy the small play and play medieval games. There will also be crafts and trails for young visitors and a chance to look around this medieval house.
Parking is free on site. You may wish to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds (tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks only are sold on site).
A full run down of the days activities and times will be posted on our Facebook page @sandwellmuseums the day before the event
