Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre - 50th Anniversary Open Day
The Wardens House, Bosworth Battlefield, Ambion Lane, Nuneaton, Leicestershire, CV13 0AD
The Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre Open Day celebrates the site's 50th Anniversary in style! Discover this important heritage site in the heart of Leicestershire and uncover the story of two of our most famous monarchs. Explore our award-winning exhibition where you can learn what lead up to the battle, what happened on that fateful day in August 1485, and what the aftermath was like. To really bring the history to life, talk to one of our passionate volunteers. You’ll even have a chance to get up close to some of the artefacts found around the site! Join in with our community project and share your memories of the site over the years - we'd be delighted to hear your favourite stories! There will also be some fantastically fun self-led children’s craft activities available in our Bosworth Discovery Zone. Then why not recharge with a hot drink and light meal in our unique Tithe Barn café? This is a perfect opportunity to uncover all that Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre has to offer and to dig a little deeper into one of the defining moments in British history.
