Come and meet the resident artists at Assembly Arts in the their studios housed in the beautiful and historic Georgian Assembly Rooms on Lancaster's King Street. There will be an opportunity to tour the building and see our latest exhibition.

Assembly Arts are proud to be based in the beautiful Assembly Rooms, an 18th century grade 2 listed heritage building dating from 1759. The lovely Georgian building which is abundant with history and character provided a venue for concerts and balls and raised money to support the adjoining almshouses on King Street.

In easy reach of both the railway and bus stations, the building is located in historic Lancaster city centre. We are just a short distance from the Marketplace Shopping Centre and other Georgian gems including the City Museum in Market Square, the Maritime Museum on St George's Quay and the magnificent Lancaster Castle.
