London and other UK Events
While Heritage Open Days casts a light on England’s regions and their rich cultural heritage, it does not cover London.
The open day event in the capital, Open House London, is organised by Open City. It traditionally takes place on the weekend after Heritage Open Days. To find out about places opening up in London, please visit www.open-city.org.uk
Heritage Open Days is England’s contribution to the European Heritage Days, a Council of Europe initiative, in which 49 countries take part.
